When VMLY&R Brisbane approached the 3P Studio team with a script for a tentative project for The Lott, our creatives leapt at the chance. The write-up described the excitement of playing an Instant Scratch-It as a feeling like being blasted from a cannon, through clouds of confetti rainbow into a pile of puppies. Or, if you prefer, kittens. With potential for integrating CG props into live-action scenes and live-action actors into CG scenes it read like a VFX post-house dream job. The passion and enthusiasm evident in the visual treatment won over both agency and client and so the Fun Cannon was born.
